Heylen Group is a Belgian industrial holding company that invests in ambitious companies and entrepreneurs. It uses a buy-build-and-hold strategy in which innovation, internationalization and operational excellence are central.

Heylen Group was founded 21 years ago by a born entrepreneur, Wim Heylen. Thanks to a clear vision and the right people, Heylen Group has grown into a holding company of 32 companies and approximately 2,800 employees. Today, Heylen Group is active in several European countries and a wide range of industries including consumer products, staffing, food, minting, fintech, business & events and logistics real estate.

Heylen Group has a DNA whose backbone is formed by cross-generational thinking. The combination of passionate entrepreneurship, a long-term vision and a presence in various countries and sectors makes Heylen Group’s business model flexible, shockproof and future-proof.

Autonomous growth

We invest in companies with an autonomous management team that have a strong market position and solid busines model and help them accelarting their growth ambitions by supporting them on a strategic level with new insights and knowledge.

Buy-and-build

We start from financially stable companies and require a minimum EBITDA level of EUR 3m in order to build strong business clusters through a buy-and-build strategy to solidify our international market positions.
