Business Manager at Hermans Heftrucks
Hermans Heftrucks was founded in 1962 by Victor Hermans, the father of the former managers Leo and Patrick Hermans. In the early years the focus was on the horse sector and agriculture. From the 1980s the range evolved to include milking machines, tractors, mowers and compact tractors. In the 1990s the Hermans family started to focus more and more on forklift trucks. The move to the current location in the Beersebaan in Rijkevorsel signified the breakthrough for Hermans Heftrucks as a specialist in the sale and rental of lifting equipment in the industrial sector.

Burning ambitions, healthy stages of growth
Hermans Heftrucks is a company burning with ambition. The intention is to achieve structural growth. Leo and Patrick (the previous owners) have always managed Hermans Heftrucks with due care and diligence. The successors now have the duty to take the same healthy steps, but with the ambition to grow on to become a national concern.
With the takeover by Heylen Group, we have a strategic partner on board with a long-term vision in which the management is given sufficient freedom to continue to put their personality and vision into Hermans Heftrucks. This continuity is extremely important for achieving our national ambitions for growth.
Hermans Forklifts is expanding its diversity of machines and brands thanks to the integration of its subsidiary Tuvo, which also belongs to Heylen Group since 2023. This strategic partnership strengthens their collective capabilities, creating a solid foundation for future growth plans that will further strengthen their position in the market.
