Heylen Group invests in the future of Hermans Heftrucks

Hermans Heftrucks welcomes Heylen Group as its new long-term majority shareholder. Together with the management team, Heylen Group is taking over the torch from Leo and Patrick Hermans.

Hermans Heftrucks specialises in complete ‘material handling’ solutions for small and large companies, enabling them to carry out their day-to-day goods movements to the highest quality. Customers can turn to Hermans Heftrucks for new and used forklifts, telehandlers, aerial work platforms, scissor lifts and more, as well as accessories. In addition, a versatile, high-quality fleet is ready to provide customers with short-term and long-term rental solutions. All this is backed by the utmost attention to after-sales service, maintenance, repairs and spare parts support. Hermans Heftrucks is an independent player, but has long sourced the highest-quality machines from manufacturers including Toyota, Merlo, Platform Basket and Prins. The company was founded by the Hermans family in 1962 and has since built up more than 60 years of expertise and a strong network from its home base in Rijkevorsel. Family shareholders Leo and Patrick Hermans handed over ultimate operational responsibility to the management a few years ago.
