Acquisition of Dmlights’ electrical installation materials division

From 1 July 2023, Ztech, with its online shop Zelektro.be, is taking over the sale and distribution of the electrical installation materials range from fellow industry player dmlights.

With this acquisition, Zelektro.be significantly expands its product range and starts a promising partnership with dmlights. From July, Dmlights will continue under the name Peeq and focus on its range of lighting, decoration and small furniture.

Zelektro.be is a Belgian online shop run by Bornem-based Ztech bv. Ztech bv has been part of Heylen group’s Plug21 holding since 2021. “We have now been active as a specialist in electrical engineering and home automation for 10 years. This year, Ztech bv was also named a Trends Gazelles ambassador as the fastest-growing company in the province of Antwerp. With this acquisition, we are taking a significant step in our planned growth scenario and further strengthening our position as market leader,” says David Janssens, General Manager of Ztech.

With extensive stock and a diverse range of electrical installation materials and HVAC solutions, Zelektro.be guarantees fast delivery, flawless service and expert technical support. Alongside its e-commerce activities under Zelektro.be, Ztech bv also offers tailored service and support through Ztech Zelfbouw Zonder Zorgen to self-builders who want to create their smart home with their own hands.

Over the past weeks and months, both parties have done everything possible to make the transition as smooth as possible, both internally and for dmlights’ customers, and to give their partnership concrete shape. After all, the partnership between Zelektro.be and peeq creates great opportunities for joint growth for both parties. “Customers in the Heist-op-den-Berg area can continue to rely on their familiar dmlights parcel locker to collect their Zelektro.be orders. In addition, customers will be put in touch with Zelektro.be specialists for electrical materials and self-build on the one hand, and with peeq specialists for lighting advice on the other. The collaboration will be developed further in the future.”, adds David Janssens.
